Formed in 1998 as a holding company for investment properties, BrookeChase Properties, LLC is a real estate development company located in Matthews, North Carolina specializing in commercial real estate and residential properties in the Matthews and Charlotte metropolitan area.

Owner, Garry D. Smith started his career in real estate as a residential home builder in 1991 and during the 1990's built a successful home building company which was purchased in 2000 by a larger national builder. Immediately after the sale of his home building company, Garry's focus for BrookeChase Properties turned to developing residential communities, office and retail projects.

Setting itself apart from most real estate professionals and developers who tend to concentrate on either commercial or residential properties, BrookeChase Properties excels in both whether Urban Infill or Suburban Developments. Garry is also affiliated with Regent Homes started in 2004, specializing in the first and second time home buyers market.

BrookeChase Properties' diverse property types range from conventional office buildings to town centers, retail to medical space, mixed use property to residential, and has found it's specialty in difficult to find Infill properties. Infill properties can be very difficult and challenging to find due to their limited availability and uniqueness. In fact, it's often said that site selection in preferred Infill properties is like finding a needle in a haystack. However, Garry says it's very rewarding to see the countless man hours, design, and vision accomplished at the conclusion of a project.
